Description
- Monitor and manage customer credit accounts to ensure timely payments.
- Chase overdue payments and resolve queries efficiently.
- Maintain accurate records of all credit control activities.
- Prepare reports on account statuses and outstanding debts.
- Liaise with internal departments to resolve account discrepancies.
- Assess and set credit limits for new and existing customers.
- Ensure compliance with company credit policies and procedures.
- Support the Accounting & Finance team with ad hoc tasks as required.
Profile
A successful Credit Controller should have:
- Experience in credit control or a similar role in finance.
- Strong numerical and analytical skills.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
Job Offer
- A salary between £27,000 and £29,000 dependent on the level of experience.
- Located in Crawley.
