As a Credit Controller in an established industry, based in Eastbourne, you'll play a key role in managing the day-to-day credit control processes to keep the business running smoothly. Your work will focus on ensuring timely payments, maintaining accurate records and building strong relationships with customers.

Description

  • Monitor and manage customer accounts to ensure timely payments.
  • Chase outstanding invoices and resolve payment queries efficiently.
  • Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and payment agreements.
  • Reconcile accounts and investigate discrepancies as needed.
  • Prepare credit reports and provide updates to the finance team.
  • Ensure compliance with company credit control policies and procedures.
  • Communicate effectively with customers to resolve payment issues.
  • Support the Accounting & Finance team with ad hoc tasks as required.

Profile

A successful Credit Controller should have:

  • Previous experience in a credit control or similar finance role.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial record-keeping.
  • Good communication and negotiation skills for dealing with customers.
  • Ability to work independently and manage priorities effectively.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
  • An understanding of financial processes and procedures.

Job Offer

  • Salary ranging from £26,000 to £28,000, dependent on the level of experience.
  • Monday to Friday in office opportunity
  • Opportunity to work in Eastbourne.
