Location: 100% onsite, Crawley RH10 9YX
Hours of work: Monday – Thursday 8.45am – 4.55pm, Friday 8.45am – 4.25pm (37.5 hours)
Salary – £12.71ph
Job role:
We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Customer Service Advisor to join our New Build Residential (NBR) - Supply Only team. In this role, you will take responsibility for the accurate entry and management of customer orders, ensuring all processes are in place to deliver goods on time while providing outstanding customer service.
For Vent-Axia NBR supply-only projects, the focus is on delivering high-quality ventilation products efficiently and in line with project specifications, ensuring clear communication with customers and contractors, and close coordination with planning and logistics teams to ensure products are available and dispatched on time.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process sales orders accurately and efficiently using internal systems (Epicor).
- Investigate and resolve customer queries, including incorrect deliveries and pricing issues
- Communicate with customers via email and telephone in a professional and timely manner
- Liaise with planning, logistics, and sales teams to ensure product availability and on-time delivery
- Monitor and manage orders on hold (with Accounts team) to ensure they are resolved before deadlines
- Support the wider team and undertake any additional duties as required by your manager
Skills & Experience Required:
- Previous experience in a customer-facing role, ideally call-centre based
- Experience of using internal software systems (Epicor) or willingness to learn. Training provided.
- Ability to make decisions under pressure
- Strong multitasking skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel (downloading reports and providing information to stakeholders as required), and Outlook for email purposes.
- A collaborative team player with a positive attitude
- Excellent telephone manner and written communication skills (English essential)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- High attention to detail and problem-solving ability
