Data Privacy Manager - 6-Month Contract (Inside IR35)

£65 per hour (Umbrella) • Hybrid (3 Days Remote / 2 Days On-Site - Burgess Hill, West Sussex)Start: ASAP

We are urgently seeking an experienced Data Privacy Manager to join a leading organisation on a full-time 6-month contract. This is an excellent opportunity for a seasoned privacy professional who is immediately available and confident operating in complex, regulated environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Implement and maintain a robust local privacy framework ensuring full compliance with all relevant privacy legislation.
• Lead all local data privacy activities, including identifying, assessing, managing, and mitigating privacy risks across the business.
• Drive the successful delivery of privacy compliance frameworks and programmes at scale.
• Provide strong matrix leadership, influencing and guiding stakeholders across multiple teams.

Essential Experience

• Proven background in Data Privacy, Information Governance, or a closely related discipline.
• In-depth working knowledge of:
  • EU GDPR
  • UK GDPR
  • Data Protection Act 2018
• Experience with ISO27001 and information security management systems.
• Exposure to digital health environments.
• Understanding of emerging technologies, including AI, and the evolving regulatory landscape.
• Demonstrable experience leading complex projects and operating effectively with senior stakeholders.
