The Role and About You:

We are currently recruiting for Day Shift Train Cleaners to join a busy rail depot at Brighton Lover s Walk. This is an excellent opportunity to gain valuable experience within the railway industry while working as part of a dedicated team responsible for maintaining high standards across the train fleet.

Working across three different shifts, with the early shift starting at 6:00am and the late shift starting at 13:30pm, you will carry out a range of cleaning duties to ensure trains are clean, tidy and presented to a high standard for passengers. Your responsibilities will include hoovering, mopping, sanitising and carrying out deep and full cleans across the interiors of the trains.

This is a physical, hands-on role where you will be on your feet for most of the shift and carrying out active cleaning duties. Previous experience within transportation, industrial cleaning, housekeeping or a similar environment would be beneficial, but reliability, enthusiasm and a strong work ethic are equally important.

Full training and PPE will be provided to ensure you have the knowledge and equipment required to carry out your role safely and effectively.

After 12 weeks, you may be eligible for a pay increase in line with Agency Workers Rights.

This is a great opportunity to develop your skills within an established railway environment, gain valuable train presentation experience and become part of a team focused on delivering high standards for passengers.

Next Steps:

If you are hardworking, reliable and enthusiastic about starting or developing your career within the railway industry, we would like to hear from you.
