Electrical Improver

Overview

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Electrical Improver to join our team on a long-term project based in RH10. This role is ideal for an experienced improver with a solid background in commercial or industrial electrical installations and the ability to work to a high standard while supporting qualified electricians on site.

Key Responsibilities

• Assisting electricians with installation, maintenance, and testing of electrical systems

• Installing containment, trunking, conduit, and cable trays

• Pulling, terminating, and labelling cables

• Supporting first and second fix electrical works

• Ensuring work is completed in line with health & safety regulations

• Keeping work areas clean, organised, and safe

• Working efficiently to meet project deadlines

Requirements

• Previous experience as an Electrical Improver on commercial or industrial sites, specifically DC or laboratory experience

• ECS or CSCS card (essential)

• Basic hand tools and PPE

• Good understanding of electrical installation practices

• Ability to follow drawings and instructions

• Strong work ethic and reliability

• Good communication and teamwork skills

• Competitive hourly rate of £21 £23 per hour (DOE)
