A leading MEP contractor is seeking an Electrical Project Manager to take full responsibility for delivering a high-spec industrial facility in Chichester. Working on complex electrical systems within a fast-paced industrial build, you will lead the project from pre-construction through to commissioning and client handover.
As the Electrical Project Manager, you will coordinate all electrical works including HV/LV power distribution, process control systems, ELV, and specialist industrial electrical services. You will ensure the project is delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead electrical works from design coordination through to final handover
  • Oversee installation of HV/LV, containment, lighting, small power, ELV, and process control systems
  • Manage subcontractors and direct labour to ensure quality, safety, and programme compliance
  • Coordinate with the client, design team, and internal departments to resolve issues
  • Maintain control of budgets, cost forecasts, and commercial reporting
  • Lead testing, inspection, and commissioning activities
  • Ensure all work meets statutory, contractual, and company requirements

Candidate Profile:

  • Degree or trade qualification in electrical engineering
  • Proven experience delivering electrical packages on large industrial projects
  • Strong technical understanding of industrial electrical systems and process control
  • Excellent leadership, planning, and organisational skills
  • Confident communicator with strong client-facing ability
  • Knowledge of relevant safety standards and legislation
