Salary: £130 - £200 per day (dependent on experience and qualifications)

Supply Desk is working in partnership with a number of welcoming and inclusive secondary schools across Brighton who are currently seeking enthusiastic and adaptable English Supply Teachers to support their English departments on a flexible, ongoing basis.

This is a fantastic opportunity for experienced teachers looking for flexible work, or Early Career Teachers (ECTs) looking to build classroom experience in a range of schools.

The Role:

  • Deliver engaging and well-structured English lessons to KS3 and KS4 students
  • Foster a love of reading, writing, and discussion across mixed-ability classes
  • Follow school policies and contribute positively to the school community
  • Adapt quickly to different classroom environments while maintaining high standards of behaviour and learning

What We re Looking For:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
  • Specialism in English Language or Literature
  • Excellent subject knowledge and communication skills
  • A flexible, proactive, and professional approach to supply teaching
  • Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
