AR827 - EV Technician Location: Shoreham-by-Sea Salary: £35,000 - £45,000 Overview: First Military Recruitment are currently searching for an EV Technician (Batteries and Motors) to support our client s growing electric vehicle operations. This role is open to EV technicians and mechanics with experience or a strong interest in EV systems, regardless of background. Our client strongly encourages applications from ex-military personnel but all candidates will be considered. Duties and Responsibilities:<ul> <li>Diagnose and repair EV high-voltage systems, including batteries and electric motors.</li><li>Carry out EV servicing, inspections, and preventative maintenance.</li><li>Use specialist diagnostic tools to identify EV faults.</li><li>Follow strict high-voltage safety procedures and protocols.</li><li>Keep technical knowledge up to date with evolving EV technology.</li></ul> Skills and Qualifications:<ul> <li>Experience working on electric or hybrid vehicles (preferred but not essential).</li><li>Understanding of EV systems, batteries, and motors.</li><li>Relevant automotive or EV-related qualifications.</li><li>Strong diagnostic, problem-solving, and safety awareness skills.</li></ul> Location: Shoreham-by-Sea Salary: £35,000 - £45,000
