Our client is looking to appoint and experienced Finance Director who can take full ownership and accountability for the financial function of the business. This is a hands-on senior role within a growing construction company. The position requires someone who is comfortable rolling up their sleeves and undertaking the day-to-day accounting, while also providing strategic financial direction to the business. Working for this small, fast paced team you will need to be: <ul> <li>ACA, ACCA, CIMA qualified</li> <li>Significant experience at Finance Director or Financial Controller level</li> <li>Strong experience within the construction industry</li> <li>Excellent technical accounting and financial control knowledge</li> <li>A proven hands on approach </li> <li>Support the company's growth </li> </ul> Responsibilities; <ul> <li>Manage the day-to-day finance operation</li> <li>Produce monthly management accounts</li> <li>Manage year-end accounting </li> <li>Monitor the companies overall financial performance</li> <li>Cashflow and financial control</li> <li>Budgeting and forecasting</li> <li>Work closely with the Managing Directors </li> <li>Improve processes to make the finance function as efficient as possible</li> <li>Ensure the business remains compliant with relevant accounting and tax requirements</li> <li>Advising on any areas of sales or marketing</li> </ul>
