As the Finance Transformation Project Manager / Business Analyst, you will lead the delivery of our finance change project that will shape how our finance team operates, meets business needs and collaborates with the wider business. Your work will help drive meaningful change initiatives across people, processes, culture and technology to create a more efficient, technology-enabled finance function that delivers sustainable outcomes and measurable value.
This is a 12 month fixed-term contract.
What You'll Be Doing
- Leading the delivery of finance transformation projects and business change initiatives against agreed outcomes, benefits and organisational goals.
- Managing project scope, priorities, risks, dependencies and resources to support successful delivery.
- Translating complex business requirements into practical solutions that balance organisational needs and delivery constraints.
- Providing analysis, insight and recommendations to support decisions where information may be ambiguous, incomplete or evolving.
- Building alignment across stakeholders with differing priorities, interests and objectives.
- Influencing the design, implementation and adoption of change to maximise organisational benefit and minimise delivery risk.
- Facilitating collaboration between business stakeholders, delivery teams, suppliers and partners to achieve shared outcomes.
- Identifying opportunities to improve processes, ways of working and effectiveness.
- Supporting the embedding of change to ensure improvements are sustainable and benefits are realised.
What You'll Need
- Strong experience delivering finance transformation or change projects.
- Experience combining professional knowledge of project management, finance business analysis and organisational change within a complex business environment.
- Good technical understanding of data structures, systems integrations and technology-enabled solutions with the ability to speak with technical experts.
- Excellent analytical and commercial judgement to evaluate challenges, identify opportunities and determine appropriate solutions.
- Knowledge of governance, risk management, process improvement and delivery frameworks.
- Ability to interpret business, operational and strategic requirements and translate them into practical and achievable outcomes.
- Effective communication, stakeholder, and influencing skills to collaborate across functions and levels of the business, including non-technical & finance colleagues.
- Awareness of emerging practices, technologies and approaches relevant to organisational effectiveness and delivery performance.
