Senior Financial Accountant

Location: Chichester (Hybrid working)

Salary: £45,000 - £50,000 per annum

We are seeking a qualified Senior Financial Accountant with a minimum of 2 years' post-qualification experience to join our finance team based in Chichester. This hybrid role offers an excellent opportunity to take ownership of core financial reporting while benefiting from a supportive environment and a strong benefits package.

Reporting to the Financial Controller, you will play a key role in delivering accurate financial reporting, maintaining robust controls, and supporting business decision-making.

• Preparation of monthly management accounts and financial reports
• Production of year-end statutory accounts and audit liaison
• Balance sheet reconciliations and reviews
• Budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
• Cash flow monitoring and reporting
• Supporting and mentoring junior finance team members
• Ensuring compliance with accounting standards and internal controls
• Ad hoc financial analysis and project work

• Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, or CIMA)
• Minimum of 2 years' post-qualification experience
• Strong technical accounting knowledge
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Confident communicator with non-finance stakeholders
• Proactive, organised, and deadline-driven
