We're working with a progressive and growing main contractor who are looking to bring in an Assistant Site Manager/ Finishing Manager to support the delivery team for a care home scheme in Crawley.
This is a site-based role working closely with the Site Manager and wider project team, taking ownership of the finishing stages through to handover. The company has built a strong reputation for quality delivery and is continuing to grow, making this a great opportunity for someone looking for long-term career development and progression.
Responsibilities will include:
Assisting the site team with day-to-day project delivery
Managing finishing trades on site
Overseeing internal fit out, finishing and snagging works
Driving quality control across all final stages of the project
Coordinating subcontractors and ensuring works are completed to programme
Managing snagging lists and ensuring a smooth handover process
Maintaining high health & safety and site standards throughout
The ideal candidate will:
Have previous experience in a Finishing Manager or Assistant Site Manager role
Come from a fit out, residential or internals background
Be organised, proactive and detail focused
Have strong communication skills and a hands-on approach on site
Be ambitious and looking to progress within a growing business
