Salary : 55,000 Full-time equivalent - negotiable depending on experience

NonStop Care is working with a well-established Health and Social Care Provider to help them find a Forensic Psychologist for one of their services - Mental Health and rehabilitation Hospital in Bexhill-on-Sea.

You will be working for an amazing service, a strong workforce of consultant psychiatrists, speciality doctors, and many more experience professionals - what we call a clinical Multi disciplinary team. These people are seriously highly specialised - It is guaranteed that you will work in an environment where there is strong support to do the best job. The hospital has 73 patients with different mental health and challenging behaviour conditions and in total 6 wards.

There is accommodation on site, if you are relocating from a different area, there is option to be accommodated there at a decent price.

Ideally you would require forensic background to be successful for this post. You will be working with another forensic psychologist and the lead psychologist within a rehabilitation setting, with patients with various mental health issues. You will also have to supervise nurses and therapeutic care workers, therefore you will have the chance to gain supervisory skills when supporting others.

There is definitely opportunity for career progression and development within the service and you will be supported to go up the ladder and acquire new skills.

Requirements:

  • Must have experience working as Psychologist with forensic background
  • Must have registration with HCPC as a Psychologist
  • Candidates with experience from outside of the UK - are welcome to apply, as long as they have the HCPC registration
