Forklift Operator

We are recruiting for a successful and well-established food production company based in Shoreham-by-Sea for production operatives on a temporary basis. Experience of working within a production environment is preferred as you may be required to work within the production areas as well as working in despatch.

• Forklift licence preferred- in house training will be provided.
• MUST have Full UK driving licence.

Duties will include:

• Making products using cutting and mixing equipment.
• Using trolleys to move products to different locations
• Handling and preparing raw ingredients on the production line
• Cleaning of equipment
• Operate forklifts to move, load, and unload goods, transporting pallets, crates, and materials between storage areas, trucks, and production lines.
• Stack and organise inventory placing items in designated racking locations while maintaining stability and weight limits.
• Retrieving materials for outgoing shipments or production use
• Following all quality systems and procedures to ensure our products meet food safety standards.
• Commitment to health and safety practices

The shift patterns available for this role are (Monday-Friday 6am-2pm) (Sunday-Thursday 14:00-22:00)
