Academics / Term Time Teachers are currently recruiting Graduate Teaching Assistants to work in schools on a full time or part time basis. This is an excellent opportunity for graduates who are considering a career in education, healthcare, psychology, sports coaching, or child development and want to gain valuable classroom experience.

Working as a Graduate Teaching Assistant provides hands-on experience supporting pupils, assisting teachers, and helping to create a positive learning environment within schools.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supporting students in the classroom on a 1:1 or small group basis

  • Assisting teachers with lesson preparation and classroom activities

  • Helping to support pupils with additional learning or behavioural needs

  • Encouraging student engagement and participation in lessons

Ideal Candidates May Have Degrees In:

  • Education

  • Psychology

  • Health & Social Care

  • Sports Science / Coaching

  • Childhood Studies or related fields

Requirements:

  • A graduate degree (or currently completing your degree)

  • A passion for working with children or young people

  • A proactive and positive attitude

  • Must hold an Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or be willing to apply for one
