Key Duties and Responsibilities:

Assist patients with personal care, including bathing, dressing, toileting, and grooming.

Support patients with mobility and physical assistance, including repositioning and use of mobility aids.

Monitor and record vital signs (e.g., temperature, pulse, respiration, and blood pressure) and report abnormalities to the nursing team.

Assist with feeding patients who need help, and document food and fluid intake accurately.

Support registered nurses with clinical tasks where appropriate (e.g., specimen collection, simple wound care).

Observe and report any changes in a patient's physical or emotional condition.

Maintain a clean and safe environment by following infection control procedures.

Accurately document care provided in patient records or care plans.

Assist with admissions, discharges, and patient transfers.

Provide emotional support and companionship to patients, respecting their dignity and individual needs.

Help maintain stock levels of medical supplies and ensure equipment is cleaned and stored correctly.

Participate in team meetings, training sessions, and mandatory updates.
