HGV / PCV Fitter

Driver Hire Brighton & Eastbourne is recruiting skilled and experienced Vehicle Fitters for our client's workshop. This is a fantastic opportunity for a qualified technician to work on a range of HGVs, coaches, and buses.

What you'll need:

• Proven experience as an HGV Fitter, PCV Mechanic, or similar role

• Relevant qualifications (e.g., NVQ Level 3, City & Guilds) are highly desirable

• Ability to perform servicing, repairs, and diagnostics on commercial vehicles

• Own toolkit is essential

• Strong focus on health and safety procedures

About the role:

• Carrying out routine servicing and safety inspections (MOT prep)

• Diagnosing and repairing mechanical and electrical faults

• Performing planned maintenance and emergency repairs

• Ensuring all work is completed to a high standard and documented correctly

• Working in a modern, well-equipped workshop environment
