Overview

Industry Engagement Manager role within the UWA Office of Industry and Commercial Development (OICD). Location: Crawley. Work type: Full Time. Fixed term appointment for 4 years. Base salary range: $116,262 - $127,078 per annum plus 17% superannuation.

Responsibilities
  • You will play a significant role in managing and leading a portfolio of industry engagement projects in the health and medical sector.
  • Establish and nurture relationships with internal and external stakeholders to grow research collaborations.
  • Provide support and assistance to the team in opportunity identification, project planning, project delivery, proposal/presentation drafting and data analysis.
  • Collaborate with colleagues across UWA and the OICD to support the portfolio's growth strategy and strategic imperatives.
About you
  • Tertiary qualification or demonstrated equivalent competency in a health and medical related field.
  • Demonstrated understanding of how research is conducted within a university environment, including knowledge of appropriate funding opportunities.
  • Business development skills and commercial acumen with the ability to identify research partnership growth opportunities.
  • Substantial project management experience with the demonstrated ability to plan, implement, and complete projects to good outcomes.
