The Role:

• Assembly of high-quality electro-mechanical instruments in accordance with engineering drawings and specifications.
• Conducting testing, calibration, and quality checks on completed products.
• Repairing instruments and occasionally installing customer-owned units both on-site and at customer locations.
• Performing fault-finding and troubleshooting using circuit diagrams and test equipment.

Key Skills and Attributes:

• Proven background in electro-mechanical assembly and testing, ideally within a manufacturing or engineering environment.
• Experience working with precision-engineered mechanical components.
• Excellent manual dexterity and ability to use a range of hand and power tools.
• Competence in reading and interpreting electrical and mechanical drawings.
• Skilled in fitting and shaping metal parts, including small-bore pipework.
• Ability to assemble wiring looms from diagrams and perform cable preparation, crimping, and soldering.
• Proficiency in using electrical and mechanical test instruments (e.g., multimeters, micrometers, Vernier gauges).
