Internal Technical Sales Engineer Mechanical Equipment

Salary: Up to £34,775 basic + monthly bonus (OTE £40,000+)
A well-established and growing supplier of mechanical equipment is looking to expand its Internal Sales Team with the addition of a Technical Sales Engineer. Based at offices in Derby, you'll be part of a knowledgeable and supportive team, providing clients with expert advice and tailored solutions.

Key Responsibilities:
- Communicating with clients and prospective clients via email and telephone
- Gathering detailed information on customer requirements and recommending appropriate solutions
- Preparing and issuing quotations over the phone and by email
- Liaising with suppliers to obtain quotations for products
- Handling technical queries via phone and email
- Following up on quotations and proposals
- Processing orders using Sage 200 and raising corresponding purchase orders
- Previous experience in a sales role within the mechanical equipment industry
- Confident IT skills, particularly with Microsoft Office
- Experience using Sage or a similar ERP system
- A professional and clear telephone manner
- A strong team ethic and willingness to collaborate
- Competitive basic salary up to £34,775
- Monthly performance bonus (OTE £40,000+)
