£660 per day Inside IR-month contract
Hybrid - 4 days per month on-site in Brighton (flexible scheduling)
We are working with a public sector organisation on a key programme focused on Value for Members (VfM) and are seeking an experienced Lead Developer to play a critical role in the delivery of this initiative.
This is a senior, hands on role where you will provide technical leadership, guide development best practice, and work closely with delivery teams to build scalable, high quality solutions that directly support VfM objectives.
Key Responsibilities- Lead the design and development of solutions aligned to the Value for Members programme
- Provide hands on development and technical leadership across the team
- Work closely with architects, testers, product managers, and stakeholders
- Ensure code quality, performance, security, and maintainability
- Support and influence best practice across development and testing activities
- Strong experience with .NET and C#
- Cloud development experience using Azure
- Experience working with Playwright and Selenium (test automation awareness/interaction)
- Strong understanding of modern development practices and CI/CD
- Proven experience operating in a lead or senior developer capacity
- Experience working within complex, regulated, or public sector environments is desirable
- Hybrid model: 4 days per month on site in Brighton (flexible on which days)
- Contract length: 12 months
- Rate: £660 per day (Inside IR35)
