The Role

As a Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring production machinery and equipment remains safe, reliable and operational.

Working across both electrical and mechanical systems, you will carry out planned and reactive maintenance, diagnose faults and contribute to improvements across the production facility.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out planned preventative and reactive maintenance across production machinery and equipment.
  • Respond to breakdowns and faults quickly to minimise production downtime.
  • Ensure machinery operates safely, efficiently and reliably.
  • Maintain and repair a range of factory equipment, including conveyors, pumps, motors, gearboxes, compressors and automated production systems.
  • Diagnose and repair electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
  • Work closely with production teams to support machine setups and resolve equipment issues.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement projects aimed at improving quality, reducing costs and increasing workplace safety.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to production colleagues where required.
  • Follow all relevant health, safety and engineering procedures.
