The Role
This is a field-based Mobile Heavy Equipment Engineer position covering the South of England, responding to breakdowns and carrying out planned maintenance on a range of heavy plant and construction equipment. As a Mobile Heavy Equipment Engineer you will be responsible for:
- Attending customer sites across the South of England to carry out planned servicing and reactive breakdown repairs on heavy plant and construction equipment
- Diagnosing and resolving mechanical and electrical faults efficiently, with a target response time of three hours to breakdowns
- Completing accurate service reports and job records following every visit
- Managing van stock and parts inventory to ensure first-time fix rates are maximised
- Representing the business professionally on customer sites at all times
