My client is looking for a skilled MOT Tester to join their Mechanical Services Division in Ringmer. This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified MOT Tester with Class 4 testing experience who is keen to expand their qualifications further with funded training for Class 1, 2, 5 and 7 vehicles.

The Role
As MOT Tester, you will be working within the Mechanical Services Division carrying out MOT testing activities while ensuring all work is completed safely, efficiently and in accordance with company and DVSA standards.
You will be responsible for:
Carrying out MOT testing on Class 4 vehicles
Undertaking training and development towards Class 1, 2, 5 and 7 testing qualifications
Ensuring all testing activities comply with health and safety procedures
Using PPE and maintaining safe working practices within the workshop environment
Updating Fleet Plan job cards when required
Processing warranty claims accurately
Communicating effectively with colleagues, management and customers
Maintaining high standards of workmanship and professionalism at all times
What They Are Looking For
To be considered for this MOT Tester role, you should have:
A valid MOT Tester Certificate
Qualification to test Class 4 vehicles
Strong vehicle mechanics knowledge and experience
Good communication skills
Awareness and understanding of health and safety procedures
A proactive and reliable approach to work
The ability to work effectively within a team environment
Salary & Benefits
This MOT Tester position offers a salary dependent on experience, typically ranging from £37,000 to £39,000 per annum.
