An established and growing independent insurance brokerage is looking to appoint a New Business Executive to drive growth within a specialist commercial niche. This is a high-impact role focused on generating and converting new client opportunities, with strong internal support from experienced broking teams.

The Role:

  • Generate and convert new business opportunities within a defined specialist sector
  • Build and manage a structured pipeline using CRM systems
  • Engage with prospects via inbound leads, outbound calls, and email outreach
  • Qualify client needs and deliver tailored insurance solutions
  • Collaborate with internal broking teams to ensure appropriate cover placement
  • Deliver quotations and secure new business within agreed timeframes
  • Identify cross-selling opportunities across existing accounts
  • Represent the business at industry events to enhance brand presence
  • Consistently achieve new business and growth targets
  • Provide regular pipeline and performance reporting to management
  • Ensure all client interactions meet regulatory and compliance standards (Consumer Duty & TCF)
  • Maintain accurate documentation and clear audit trails
  • Deliver high levels of service with no compromise on quality or compliance

About You:

  • Proven track record in insurance new business or development roles
  • Strong commercial awareness and ability to identify client needs
  • Confident communicator with experience in client-facing environments
  • Organised, target-driven, and comfortable managing a full sales pipeline
  • Knowledge of commercial insurance products (sector experience advantageous but not essential)
