We are working with a well-established and growing accountancy practice in Brighton who are looking to appoint a Newly Qualified Accountant to join their team.

This is an excellent opportunity for a recently qualified ACA or ACCA accountant (or finalist) looking to take the next step in their career within a supportive and forward-thinking firm.

The Role

You will work closely with managers and partners, supporting a varied portfolio of clients while continuing to develop your technical and advisory skills.

Key responsibilities include:

• Preparing and reviewing statutory accounts for a range of clients
• Assisting with audits from planning through to completion
• Preparing management accounts and financial reports
• Supporting with corporation tax computations and returns
• Liaising directly with clients and responding to queries
• Building strong working relationships with clients and colleagues
• Supporting junior team members where appropriate

About You

• ACA / ACCA qualified (or finalist nearing completion)
• Experience working within an accountancy practice environment
• Good knowledge of accounts preparation and ideally some audit exposure
• Strong communication skills and confidence working with clients
• Organised, detail-focused, and proactive in your approach
• Keen to continue learning and progressing your career
