Description

  • Manage daily banking transactions and reconcile accounts accurately.
  • Ensure compliance with Solicitors Regulation Authority (SRA) Accounts Rules.
  • Process client and office account payments and receipts promptly.
  • Maintain accurate financial records and produce reports as required.
  • Handle VAT returns and assist with audits when necessary.
  • Monitor and manage client account balances effectively.
  • Support the team with general administrative tasks related to accounting and finance.
  • Respond to financial queries from clients and colleagues in a timely manner.

Profile

A successful Part Time Accounts Assistant should have:

  • Experience working in a legal or professional services accounting environment.
  • A strong understanding of Solicitors Regulation Authority (SRA) Accounts Rules.
  • Proficiency in using accounting software and Microsoft Office applications.
