What You ll Do
- Own the plan: Take full responsibility for scheduling and planning products through manufacturing cells.
- Keep customers happy: Work with Sales to set and agree delivery dates, ensuring commitments are met.
- Spot the blockers: Identify critical issues early, resolve problems, and keep orders moving.
- Collaborate widely: Act as the bridge between Sales, Engineering, Manufacturing, and Supply Chain teams.
- Use data smartly: Maximise our ERP/order management systems to give full visibility on progress.
- Balance demand and capacity: Analyse load vs. capacity to avoid delays.
- Support the team: Step in to help colleagues in Production and Purchasing when needed.
- Drive improvement: Share ideas, publish metrics, and continuously look for ways to make planning more efficient
What You ll Bring
- Strong ERP planning experience (essential).
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- A proactive, decisive approach to problem-solving.
- The ability to stay calm and deliver under pressure.
- Enthusiasm and drive to get things done.
It Would Be Great If You Also Have
- 5+ years production planning experience.
- Experience with Microsoft Dynamics AX (or similar).
- A background in manufacturing/assembly environments.
- Solid analytical, Excel, and systems knowledge.
- Engineering or manufacturing qualifications (ONC/HNC or similar).
