What You ll Do
  • Own the plan: Take full responsibility for scheduling and planning products through manufacturing cells.
  • Keep customers happy: Work with Sales to set and agree delivery dates, ensuring commitments are met.
  • Spot the blockers: Identify critical issues early, resolve problems, and keep orders moving.
  • Collaborate widely: Act as the bridge between Sales, Engineering, Manufacturing, and Supply Chain teams.
  • Use data smartly: Maximise our ERP/order management systems to give full visibility on progress.
  • Balance demand and capacity: Analyse load vs. capacity to avoid delays.
  • Support the team: Step in to help colleagues in Production and Purchasing when needed.
  • Drive improvement: Share ideas, publish metrics, and continuously look for ways to make planning more efficient

What You ll Bring

  • Strong ERP planning experience (essential).
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • A proactive, decisive approach to problem-solving.
  • The ability to stay calm and deliver under pressure.
  • Enthusiasm and drive to get things done.

It Would Be Great If You Also Have

  • 5+ years production planning experience.
  • Experience with Microsoft Dynamics AX (or similar).
  • A background in manufacturing/assembly environments.
  • Solid analytical, Excel, and systems knowledge.
  • Engineering or manufacturing qualifications (ONC/HNC or similar).
