Salary: 30k - 38k DOE
Monday to Friday 8am - 5pm

Lloyd Recruitment Services is delighted to be supporting a well-established company on the outskirts of Crawley in their search for a Plant Service Engineer.

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Mechanical or Electrical Engineer to join a growing team. You will be responsible for maintaining and repairing plant equipment, carrying out on-site visits, and supporting operational teams across the region. The role involves direct customer interaction and occasional on-call duties, so excellent communication and problem-solving skills are essential.

Plant Service Engineer Key Responsibilities:

• Perform planned maintenance and routine servicing of plant equipment
• Diagnose and resolve technical faults efficiently
• Ensure compliance with health and safety policies and maintain tidy workspaces
• Conduct site visits to assess operational requirements
• Participate in the on-call rota to provide support outside normal working hours

Plant Service Engineer Skills and Experience:

• Relevant technical qualification in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, or completion of an approved apprenticeship
• Proven experience in a field service or maintenance role
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Full UK driving licence required
• Ideally 2 years' experience working for a plant / hire company

Salary: 30k- 38k DOE
