About the Role
We are seeking a highly organised and proactive Premises Coordinator to join our team at Brighton MET. This is a key support role, ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of the College estate and providing vital administrative assistance to the Estates & Facilities team.
You will work closely with the Head of Estates and the Buildings & Facilities Manager, helping to maintain a safe, compliant, and well-managed environment for students, staff, and visitors.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide efficient and effective administrative support to the Estates & Facilities team
- Act as a central point of contact for enquiries from staff, and external stakeholders, including contractors
- Support diary management, document control, and information management
- Maintain accurate records and files, including budget monitoring and audit support
- Work collaboratively with the Buildings & Facilities Manager, Maintenance Teams, and Cleaning Manager to ensure excellent customer liaison
- Assist in coordinating the College s maintenance and development programmes
- Contribute to the development and improvement of policies and procedures
- Support the Head of Estates and act on their behalf when required
About You
We are looking for someone who is:
- Experienced in an administrative role, ideally within an FE (Further Education) environment
- Confident handling confidential information and managing enquiries and complaints
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and experienced in working with spreadsheets and data
- Highly organised, with strong time management skills and the ability to meet tight deadlines
- Able to work both independently and as part of a team
- A strong communicator with excellent interpersonal skills
- Flexible, proactive, and solution-focused
