
Production Technician (Electrical)
Summary:
As a Production Technician (Electrical), you will apply your expertise in undertaking planned, preventative and condition based maintenance on critical electrical systems and equipment. This will include everything from control panels, water pumps to motors and water quality analysers.
This is a critical role for a hands-on professional who values safety and efficiency and being part of a high performing team.
Main responsibilities:
- Undertake planned preventative and condition based maintenance including replacement of obsolete electrical plant and water treatment related equipment including several types of control panels, pumps, motors to contribute towards the reliable and efficient operation of our production works and operational sites.
- Accurate recording keeping linked to planned maintenance work.
- Ensure business systems and work management systems are kept up to date.
- Help to complete administration (e.g., timesheets, health and safety forms, vehicle record sheets etc.)
- Update site operating manuals relating to planned maintenance and replacement of obsolete works in site manuals.
- Collate and record site based asset information
- Adhere to all Health & Safety legislation, company policies and Production “Standard Operating Procedures” (SOP)
You'll need:
Skills / Qualifications / Experience
- You are electrically qualified to at least Level 3 NVQ Diploma or equivalent (e.g. HNC, apprenticeship etc) with at least 3 years maintenance experience
- Previous experience working in the water industry
- Ability to fault find and problem-solving electrical equipment in a planned way.
- Highly organised individual with the ability to work under your own direction.
- Confident using IT and computers to be able to update records and reports.
- A valid clean driving licence.

Compensation package:
£38,000 - £44,000 (dependent on experience) + Company Van
