Summary:

We are looking for a Project Controller who thrives on bringing order to complexity. This isn’t just about ticking boxes; it’s about being the heartbeat of our Investment Delivery function. You’ll be the person ensuring our large-scale infrastructure projects stay on track, on budget, and fully governed.

Main responsibilities:

  • Update monthly all project programmes on P6 and sure programmes are an accurate reflection and challenge any key areas that are not.
  • Complete all funding requests (CER) for projects within relevant portfolio.
  • Complete all change requests via the IMS systems and ensure change process is followed.
  • Ensure all programmes are baselined and change managed against the baseline.
  • Run the relevant reports for earned value including SPI and CPI.
  • Initiate projects on P6 as required from the IMS system.
  • Identify and report on any schedule variance or cost variance.
  • Review contractor programmes for compliance with NEC contracts and relevant contractual obligations.
  • Support a H&S initiative by attending site identifying any safety concerns via a Safety Observation.
  • Attend site progress meetings with the contractor as required.

You'll need:
Skills / Qualifications / Experience

  • P6 primavera formal training to professional level.
  • Excellent report writing and editorial skills, and good oral communication.
  • Delivery focussed with a good team ethic and organisational skills.
  • A minimum of 2 years experience in using P6 as a project controller in the construction industry.
  • Expert planning and scheduling knowledge.
  • Have a good understanding of Change Management.
  • Have a technical understanding of Earned Value & VOWD.
  • Understanding of the Health and Safety regulations that affect their area of work.
  • Relevant construction experience on major multi-disciplinary infrastructure projects.

Compensation package:

From £45,000 - £50,000 p.a. dependent upon experience
