This role requires a dedicated QSHE Manager to oversee quality, safety, health, and environmental standards within an industrial / manufacturing environment. The position is based in Gatwick and offers an excellent opportunity to drive compliance and improve operational standards.

Description

  • Oversee all quality, safety, health, and environmental (QSHE) policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulations.
  • Develop and implement effective QSHE systems and strategies to enhance operational performance.
  • Conduct regular audits, risk assessments, and inspections to identify areas for improvement.
  • Provide guidance and training to staff on QSHE practices and responsibilities.
  • Monitor and report on key QSHE metrics and performance indicators.
  • Ensure adherence to industry standards and best practices within the manufacturing environment.
  • Collaborate with teams to address and resolve any QSHE-related issues promptly.
  • Act as the key point of contact for external audits and regulatory bodies.

Profile

A successful QSHE Manager should have:

Minimum 5 years' relevant Industry experience.
A member of the Institute of Occupational Safety and Health (IOSH).
A relevant professional qualification e.g. NEBOSH General Certificate.
Experience of Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality Management systems
Extensive knowledge Health, Safety and Environmental legislation and best practice.
Holds appropriate professional qualification such as ISO lead auditor, OHSAS Chartered Environmentalist etc.
