Salary: £65,000 per annum + Company Car/Car Allowance + Bonus & Benefits

An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join a growing contractor delivering a diverse range of electrical and multi-disciplinary projects within Gatwick Airport.
Working within a live, safety-critical environment, you'll play a key role in the commercial delivery of projects from pre-construction through to final account, ensuring strong cost control, contractual compliance and commercial performance across multiple workstreams.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the commercial aspects of projects from tender handover through to final account.
- Prepare and manage applications for payment, valuations, variations, compensation events and final accounts.
- Provide commercial support to project teams, including cost forecasting, contract administration and risk management.
- Monitor project performance against budgets, programme and contractual requirements.
- Produce accurate commercial reports including cost value reconciliations, cash flow forecasts and margin analysis.
- Review and manage subcontractor quotations, orders, applications, variations and final accounts.
- Support procurement activities, including subcontractor tendering, negotiation and appointment.
- Work closely with Project Managers, Site Teams and Operational staff to ensure successful project delivery.
- Assist with tender reviews, pricing support and commercial input into bids where required.
- Identify commercial risks and opportunities across live projects.
- Ensure contractual records and notices are maintained accurately.
- Attend client and commercial meetings as required.
- Support and mentor junior members of the commercial team where appropriate.
About You
We're looking for a commercially driven Quantity Surveyor with experience working within construction, infrastructure, M&E or electrical contracting.
You will have:
- Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor within construction, infrastructure, M&E or multi-disciplinary projects.
- Strong knowledge of project commercial management, valuations, variations and final accounts.
- Experience working with NEC, JCT or similar forms of contract.
- Excellent cost control, forecasting and reporting skills.
- Strong negotiation and stakeholder management abilities.
- The ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
- A proactive and collaborative approach.
