About the Role
We re seeking an empathetic, proactive Safeguarding officer who is able to conduct meetings and make decisions based on their knowledge and circumstances surrounding a vulnerable individual. You need to work as an individual although you will be part of a Team of Safeguarding Officers.
You ll be the frontline link between vulnerable individuals and the services that protect and empower them delivering high-impact welfare checks, safeguarding interventions and working as part of a multi-agency co-ordination.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage a caseload of individuals in your assigned area
- Conduct daily welfare and safeguarding visits (approx. households/day) or be based in a housing block
- Liaise with external bodies including local authorities
- , healthcare providers,and housing teams
- Make referrals where necessary to ensure safety and wellbeing
- Maintain accurate records and escalate concerns appropriately
- Work with interpreters where language support is required

What We re Looking For
- Extensive experience in welfare, safeguarding, housing, or support work
- Full UK driving licence
- Full-time availability
- Strong communication skills and an empathetic approach
- Ability to work independently and manage a dynamic caseload

Salary range
- £31,000 - £37,000
