Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate General Practitioner to join our healthcare team. The successful candidate will provide comprehensive medical care, specialising in patient diagnosis, treatment, and prevention across a diverse patient demographic. Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough patient consultations, including history taking and physical examinations
- Diagnose a wide range of medical conditions across different age groups and backgrounds
- Develop personalised treatment plans and prescribe appropriate medication or therapies
- Administer medication and oversee medication management programmes
- Coordinate with specialists for advanced procedures such as medical imaging or specialised tests when necessary
- Manage patient care in various settings including nursing homes, hospice, home care, and community clinics
- Engage in clinical research projects to advance medical knowledge and improve patient outcomes
- Maintain accurate and detailed medical records in compliance with legal and organisational standards
- Educate patients on health maintenance, disease prevention, and lifestyle modifications
Qualifications
- Fully qualified Medical Degree recognised by relevant UK medical authorities
- Registration with the General Medical Council (GMC) with a valid licence to practise medicine
- Proven experience in general practice or primary healthcare settings
- Experience or familiarity with ICU procedures, public health initiatives, or nursing home care is desirable
- Knowledge of anatomy, patient care protocols, and medication administration procedures
- Additional expertise in medical imaging, senior care, hospice care, or home care is advantageous
- Strong communication skills with the ability to build rapport with diverse patient populations
- Commitment to ongoing professional development through courses or clinical research activities
