Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate General Practitioner to join our healthcare team. The successful candidate will provide comprehensive medical care, specialising in patient diagnosis, treatment, and prevention across a diverse patient demographic. Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough patient consultations, including history taking and physical examinations
  • Diagnose a wide range of medical conditions across different age groups and backgrounds
  • Develop personalised treatment plans and prescribe appropriate medication or therapies
  • Administer medication and oversee medication management programmes
  • Coordinate with specialists for advanced procedures such as medical imaging or specialised tests when necessary
  • Manage patient care in various settings including nursing homes, hospice, home care, and community clinics
  • Engage in clinical research projects to advance medical knowledge and improve patient outcomes
  • Maintain accurate and detailed medical records in compliance with legal and organisational standards
  • Educate patients on health maintenance, disease prevention, and lifestyle modifications

Qualifications

  • Fully qualified Medical Degree recognised by relevant UK medical authorities
  • Registration with the General Medical Council (GMC) with a valid licence to practise medicine
  • Proven experience in general practice or primary healthcare settings
  • Experience or familiarity with ICU procedures, public health initiatives, or nursing home care is desirable
  • Knowledge of anatomy, patient care protocols, and medication administration procedures
  • Additional expertise in medical imaging, senior care, hospice care, or home care is advantageous
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to build rapport with diverse patient populations
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development through courses or clinical research activities
