We are recruiting a full-time Senior Account Executive to join the team on lunch! the UK's multi-award-winning trade show for the food-to-go industry. lunch! is a fast-paced, high-energy trade exhibition at the heart of the UK's booming food-to-go, retail and coffee shop sector. It brings together buyers, operators, decision-makers and fast-growing brands from across retail & hospitality.

The Senior Account Executive is responsible for driving revenue through the sale of exhibition stand space, sponsorship packages for the show. This role involves identifying new business opportunities, managing client relationships, and achieving individual & team sales targets for the show.

The Senior Account Executive works closely with the Direct Team, Marketing, Event Operations and Finance to ensure client needs are met, and show objectives are delivered.

The role

As Senior Account Executive, you'll provide essential to the sales team while managing your own portfolio of clients. You'll help drive exhibitor and sponsorship revenue, maintain strong client relationships, and contribute to the continued growth of the event.

Key responsibilities
  • Manage and nurture a portfolio of existing clients to ensure repeat business
  • Support senior sales colleagues in securing new business and sponsorship opportunities
  • Conduct sales calls and virtual meetings with exhibitors and sponsors
  • Assist in developing sales pitches, proposals, and marketing materials
  • Attend industry trade shows and networking events to represent the brand
  • Maintain accurate client and pipeline records in Salesforce
  • Collaborate with marketing, operations, and finance teams to deliver on client needs
  • Support reporting and sales analysis for management
  • Contribute to LinkedIn and email campaigns to raise visibility and generate leads
Skill range / Person specification
  • Minimum 2 years' experience, preferably in a B2B sales, account management, or customer-facing roles (events/exhibitions/conference experience an advantage but not essential)
  • Proven ability to build strong relationships and deliver excellent client service
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
  • A proactive, positive, and detail-oriented approach
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, target-driven environment
  • Demonstrated ability to meet and exceed revenue targets
  • Proficiency with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
