Role: Senior Bid Manager
Location: Near Burgess Hill (Hybrid working - 2-3 days per week in the office)
(Flexibility available for exceptional candidates, including reduced office attendance)
Hours: Full-time
Pay: 400 - 500 per day (Inside IR35) - DOE
Contract: 12-month contract (Maternity Cover)
An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Senior Bid Manager to join one of our longstanding clients, a leading organisation operating within a regulated, healthcare-focused environment.
This role will take ownership of the end-to-end bid lifecycle for complex, high-value submissions, working closely with senior stakeholders to drive successful commercial outcomes and influence bid strategy.

The Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years' experience in Bid Management
- Proven track record managing complex, large-scale bid processes
- Experience within a regulated industry (healthcare preferred)
- Strong understanding of public procurement frameworks and legislation
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
- Ability to influence senior leadership and decision-making
- Experience mentoring or supporting junior team members
- Strong project management capability, including risk management and resource planning
- APMP certification (desirable)
The Role:
- Leading the end-to-end bid lifecycle for complex submissions
- Driving bid strategy during pre-tender phases, including defining win themes and competitive positioning
- Managing the development and submission of high-quality bid documentation
- Coordinating internal stakeholders and third-party contributors
- Supporting bid/no bid decision-making processes with leadership teams
- Ensuring all submissions meet governance, compliance, and quality standards
- Managing risk registers, competitor analysis, and supporting documentation
- Leading post-submission reviews, including win/loss analysis
- Driving continuous improvement across bid processes, tools, and standards
- Mentoring junior team members and promoting best practice
