What you'll be doing
Developing competitive, high-quality M&E pricing solutions across a major water framework
Supporting all stages of pre-construction, including early contractor involvement
Producing estimates ranging from high-level budgets to detailed bottom-up pricing
Reviewing client specifications, drawings, and technical requirements
Collaborating with bid managers, planners, designers, and commercial teams
Identifying risks, opportunities, and value engineering options
Engaging with supply chain partners and assessing subcontractor quotations
Preparing cost breakdowns, comparisons, and tender submission documentation
Attending client meetings, site visits, and internal reviews
Ensuring all submissions meet quality standards, deadlines, and commercial requirements
What you'll bring
Proven experience delivering M&E estimates within the water industry
Strong ability to interpret incomplete information and apply engineering judgement to develop accurate pricing
Experience managing multiple projects within a framework environment
Solid understanding of water industry processes and M&E assets
Strong commercial awareness and understanding of client requirements
Excellent planning, organisation, and communication skills
Experience working within multi-disciplinary teams on complex bids
Proficiency with estimating software and standard IT packages
