
Senior Mechanical Building Services Engineer

You ll be involved in the full lifecycle of mechanical design, from concept through to delivery, working closely with multidisciplinary teams.
Key responsibilities include:
- Designing HVAC and mechanical building services systems for a range of projects
- Producing detailed calculations, specifications, and technical drawings
- Using industry-standard design software to develop efficient solutions
- Collaborating with clients, architects, and engineers to deliver coordinated designs
- Ensuring compliance with UK regulations, standards, and best practice
- Supporting project delivery from concept through to construction
You ll play a key role in delivering energy-efficient, high-performance buildings, with a focus on reliability and sustainability
What they re looking for- Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Building Services Engineering
- Experience in mechanical design within building services
- Strong knowledge of HVAC systems and design principles
- Familiarity with design software (e.g. CAD/Revit)
- Understanding of UK Building Regulations and industry standards
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Experience working on data centre or mission-critical projects
- Progressing towards or already holding Chartership
(Data centre exposure is highly valued due to the complexity and resilience requirements of these environments.)
