The Role

You ll be involved in the full lifecycle of mechanical design, from concept through to delivery, working closely with multidisciplinary teams.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Designing HVAC and mechanical building services systems for a range of projects
  • Producing detailed calculations, specifications, and technical drawings
  • Using industry-standard design software to develop efficient solutions
  • Collaborating with clients, architects, and engineers to deliver coordinated designs
  • Ensuring compliance with UK regulations, standards, and best practice
  • Supporting project delivery from concept through to construction

You ll play a key role in delivering energy-efficient, high-performance buildings, with a focus on reliability and sustainability

What they re looking for
  • Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Building Services Engineering
  • Experience in mechanical design within building services
  • Strong knowledge of HVAC systems and design principles
  • Familiarity with design software (e.g. CAD/Revit)
  • Understanding of UK Building Regulations and industry standards
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
Desirable
  • Experience working on data centre or mission-critical projects
  • Progressing towards or already holding Chartership

(Data centre exposure is highly valued due to the complexity and resilience requirements of these environments.)
