My client is a well-established engineering business operating across the UK, providing specialist maintenance and support on access equipment. They are currently looking for a skilled Service Engineer to join their growing team, working across a variety of environments including commercial, industrial and residential sites.
The Role - Service Engineer:
- Servicing and repairing platform lifts and access equipment
- Carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM)
- Diagnosing and resolving mechanical and electrical faults
- Responding to reactive breakdowns across your patch
- Working across commercial, industrial, and residential environments
- Daily interaction with customers and end users
- Completing job documentation accurately using handheld devices
- Working independently with minimal supervision
- Experience working as a Service Engineer / Lift Engineer / Platform Lift Engineer / Maintenance Engineer / Field Service Engineer
- Strong electro-mechanical background
- Experience carrying out PPM and reactive maintenance
- Strong fault-finding skills across mechanical and electrical systems
- Experience working on access equipment, lifts, or similar systems
- Professional and customer-focused approach
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently
- 25-30 days holiday + bank holidays
