A specialist Engineering organisation based in Horsham are looking for a proactive and hands-on Site Fitter to join their team on a permanent basis. The role will involve supporting plant installation projects and carrying out essential maintenance and site preparation tasks. This is a varied and practical role suited to someone who enjoys working in different environments and problem-solving on the job. Key Responsibilities: <ul> <li>Assist with plant and equipment installation on client sites</li> <li>Perform minor repairs and maintenance on plant equipment</li> <li>Carry out tank cleaning and preparation to ensure safe operation</li> <li>Undertake site preparation works ahead of installation and servicing projects</li> <li>Apply and manage chemical treatment processes in line with safety guidelines</li> <li>Ensure all work is carried out safely, following company procedures and industry standards</li> </ul> What is required: <ul> <li>Previous experience in a similar role (site fitter, plant operative, labourer etc)</li> <li>Practical, hands-on approach with good problem-solving skills</li> <li>Willingness to travel to different sites and occasionally work flexible hours</li> <li>Strong commitment to health, safety, and environmental standards</li> <li>Ability to work independently and as part of a team</li> </ul>
