Site Manager -Residential Development
We're working with a well-established PLC developer with a strong track record of delivering quality residential schemes. They're looking for an experienced Site Manager to take control of a development in a well-positioned East Sussex location - offering that balance of peaceful surroundings and be close to the seaside.
This is a live site that needs someone who can keep momentum, stay ahead of the programme, and maintain standards from start to finish.
You'll have the support of an on-site team around you, giving you the structure to focus on running a tight, well-organised site.
What You'll Be Doing
This is about running a sharp site - planning properly, reacting quickly, and keeping standards consistent throughout.
- Taking full control of a residential development
- Managing the programme closely, ensuring trades are aligned and working efficiently
- Coordinating the sequencing specific to timber frame to avoid delays
- Setting clear expectations on site and holding subcontractors to account
- Leading on quality control and ensuring finishes meet a high standard
- Managing NHBC inspections and ensuring compliance throughout the build
- Creating a site environment that is organised, safe, and runs with purpose
What We're Looking For
- Proven experience as a Site Manager within residential housebuilding
- Strong background working on timber frame or traditional developments
- Experience with a PLC developer or high-volume housebuilder
- Solid understanding of NHBC standards and inspection processes
- Someone who is driven, organised, and comfortable managing a fast-paced site
- A confident leader who can keep trades motivated and performance high
