Our Hove based engineering client is looking for an experienced Switchgear Technician/Panel Wirer to work alongside Technicians, Testers and Engineers to ensure high and accurate standard of build and installation. Key responsibilities and main tasks and activities: <ul> <li>Interpretation of schematic and general arrangement drawings.</li> <li>Layout of panels</li> <li>Panel assembly including, preparation of metalwork prior to assembly, cabling and small wiring.</li> <li>Copper busbar fitting.</li> <li>Panel installation on site.</li> <li>Liaising with engineers</li> </ul> Skills and abilities: Essential <ul> <li>Electrical and mechanical knowledge</li> <li>Proven experience in a similar role</li> <li>Ability to interpret schematic and general arrangement drawings</li> </ul> Teamwork and personal impact <ul> <li>Consult with the team and other experts as and when required.</li> <li>Able to operate within a team, and individually.</li> <li>Task focused.</li> <li>Strong desire to achieve.</li> <li>High attention to detail.</li> </ul> Working Days and Hours Mon to Thur, 07:45 to 16:30 and Fri 07:45 to 12:15 Start and Duration Immediate start until the end of July 2026
