As our Talent Acquisition Lead, you'll use your extensive recruitment experience to help deliver an exceptional hiring journey across all our international teams in the UK, Poland, and the Philippines. You'll be passionate, thoughtful, and energetic and someone who believes deeply in creating an outstanding experience for every candidate, whether or not they ultimately join the BrightLocal team.

Working as part of the People Team, you'll play a key role in shaping how we attract, evaluate, and hire team members who will thrive here. You'll be an ambassador for our culture and beliefs, helping ensure every interaction lives up to the standard we're proud of.

What you'll be doing
  • Attract, engage, and hire exceptional talent by leading the full recruitment cycle across multiple teams.
  • Develop and run thoughtful sourcing strategies that help us connect with brilliant people globally and build strong talent pipelines for the future.
  • Lead structured interviews and assessments, providing guidance to hiring managers and helping ensure fair, consistent, and inclusive hiring decisions.
  • Keep our recruitment operations running smoothly by maintaining excellent admin and ensuring our ATS is always accurate, organised, and up to date.
  • Use data to spot patterns and opportunities, helping us continually improve our hiring approach with insights that actually drive change.
  • Partner with managers to co-create clear, compelling, and inclusive job descriptions that support both business needs and candidate attraction.
  • Support our onboarding process, working closely with the People Team to ensure new starters have a welcoming, organised, and meaningful introduction to life at BrightLocal.
  • Carry out salary benchmarking so we can offer competitive and equitable compensation.
  • Be an ambassador for BrightLocal, championing our culture and values in every interaction with candidates and colleagues.
The Perks (The important details)
  • Salary: Dependent on experience
  • Performance-based bonus: Up to 20% of base salary (10% company performance + 10% team performance).
  • Hybrid Working, 2 days a week in our Brighton office for full-time team members, we are able to consider weekly working hours between 30 and 37.5 for this role.
  • Holiday: 25 days + bank holidays + your birthday off!

Experience that will help you thrive
  • Experience as an internal recruiter within a start up or SME, ideally in a tech environment.
  • A strong track record in hiring for Tech and Product roles.
  • Experience recruiting internationally and adapting approaches across markets.
  • A solid understanding of full cycle recruitment and inclusive hiring practices.
  • Proficiency with sourcing tools and platforms like LinkedIn Recruiter, social media, search engines, and job aggregators.
  • Strong experience working with Applicant Tracking Systems, valuing high quality data and process efficiency.
  • Experience in improving or building recruitment processes in a growing organisation.
