Teaching Assistant

Salary: £25,614 per annum full time equivalent; actual salary £18,241
Are you a graduate considering teacher training, or do you already have experience working with children? We're looking for a caring, enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to support students at a secondary school in Crowborough.
This is a great opportunity to gain hands-on experience in education and make a positive difference to young people's learning and wellbeing. You'll work with teachers and other staff to help students engage with lessons, build confidence and reach their potential.
What you'll do

• Support students in the classroom and with their learning
• Work with teachers to help create a positive, inclusive learning environment
• Encourage students' confidence, participation and independence
• Offer support to students who may need additional help

This role could suit you if you

• Are a graduate looking to take your first steps into education before pursuing teacher training, or
• Have experience working with children and are keen to bring those skills to a secondary school
• Communicate well and enjoy working as part of a team
• Are patient, positive and committed to helping young people succeed

The role is full time and starts immediately. The salary is £25,614 per annum full time equivalent, with an actual salary of £18,241.
