We are currently recruiting for a Technical Project Manager to join our established and experienced Chief Information Office team here at RSA on a hybrid basis.

Your Role

The purpose of this role is to manage the delivery of infrastructure-focused technology projects, ensuring solutions are aligned with existing platforms, service architecture, and deployment strategies. You will lead the planning and execution of infrastructure initiatives across networking, server platforms, storage, cloud environments, and security, with a strong emphasis on operational readiness and scalability.

You are accountable for coordinating cross-functional teams to deliver infrastructure projects within agreed parameters of cost, time, and quality. You will have solid technical knowledge across core infrastructure domains including enterprise networks, firewalls, server operating systems (physical and virtual), middleware, databases, cloud services (IaaS/PaaS), and cybersecurity.

About You

We are looking for some of the key accountabilities below:

  • Defining and agreeing infrastructure project benefits and value, ensuring scope, outputs, and success criteria are aligned to deliver tangible improvements in performance, resilience, and operational efficiency.
  • Leading the development of infrastructure service architecture, embedding operational controls and standards to support sustainable, secure, and scalable technology and business service outcomes.
  • Operating within established governance frameworks, ensuring compliance with infrastructure standards, security policies, and change control processes.
  • Supporting timely decision-making through structured reporting, escalation processes, and proactive stakeholder engagement.
  • Leading and motivating cross-functional project teams, including infrastructure engineers, architects, and third-party providers, to achieve project outcomes.

We are also looking for the following skills:

Technical Project Management Skills:

  • End-to-end delivery of infrastructure projects, ensuring teams have the right technical skills, resources, and support to deliver across network, server, storage, and cloud domains.
  • Scoping, planning, and estimating infrastructure work, defining delivery structures and ways of working that suit the complexity and scale of infrastructure programmes.
  • Status reporting, providing clear updates to Portfolio and Enterprise forums, including impact assessments, mitigations, and ad hoc reporting as required.
  • Agile delivery capability, with the flexibility to apply Waterfall, Agile, or Hybrid methodologies depending on the nature of the infrastructure project.

Soft Skills:

  • Strong collaboration and communication, engaging stakeholders across business and delivery partners to clarify infrastructure outcomes, timelines, and value.
  • Leadership and motivation, guiding infrastructure and platform teams to deliver high-quality outcomes aligned with business needs.
  • Influencing and negotiation, adapting communication style to secure buy-in and drive infrastructure outcomes.
  • Problem-solving and decision-making, navigating technical challenges and escalating appropriately to maintain momentum.
