Technical Sales & Assembly Assistant
Location: Crawley / Manor Royal
Hours: 4.5‑day week — Monday to Thursday 8:00–16:00, Friday 8:00–13:00
About the Role
Afriso Eurogauge is a long‑established UK manufacturer of specialist measurement equipment, trusted by customers across the UK and Europe. We are seeking a reliable, proactive person who is keen to learn all aspects of our business. This is a varied role combining office‑based sales and administration with hands‑on assembly and technical work.
The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, a positive attitude, and the ability to work efficiently while maintaining high standards of quality and safety. This position offers genuine opportunities for development and progression for someone eager to build a long‑term career.
Key Responsibilities
Assembly & Technical
- Assemble products in line with specifications and quality standards
- Operate and monitor assembly machinery and equipment
- Carry out quality checks to ensure products meet required standards
- Follow all health and safety procedures to maintain a safe working environment
- Complete assembly documentation and reports accurately
- Work collaboratively with the production team to meet targets
Office, Sales & Customer Support
- Support office operations including sales, administration, and order processing
- Learn the full product range to assist customers effectively
- Communicate with customers via phone, email, and online channels
- Assist with marketing activities, website/shop updates, and customer communications
- Attend trade shows and training workshops in the UK and Europe
- Participate in customer and site visits when required
About You
- Flexible, positive, and willing to learn
- Comfortable working across both office and workshop environments
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Good communication skills and customer‑focused approach
- Able to work independently and as part of a small team
