Job Title: Toolmaker

Location: HastingsSalary: Up to £43,700 per annumWorking Hours: Full-time, Permanent - 40 hours per week.

Rotating shifts between 6:00am - 2:00pm, 8:00am - 4:00pm and 2:00pm - 10:00pm.

HRGO Recruitment are seeking an experienced Toolmaker to join our client's expanding manufacturing team. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled Toolmaker to provide toolmaking, repair and maintenance services, supporting manufacturing operations while working to high standards of precision and quality.

• Provide toolmaking, repair and maintenance services to support manufacturing operations.
• Manufacture finished products to predetermined specifications and tolerances.
• Carry out repairs and maintenance on tooling as required.
• Read, interpret and accurately work from technical drawings and specifications.
• Maintain a high level of accuracy in both practical and technical tasks.
• Ensure tooling is completed within agreed deadlines and quality standards.
• Support the wider team to achieve manufacturing objectives.
• Work safely and comply with all company health and safety procedures.

• Relevant Mechanical or Production Engineering qualification.
• Minimum 3 years' experience working as a Toolmaker within a busy tool shop.
• Experience working to tight production deadlines.
• Ability to read, interpret and work from technical drawings.
• Proven ability to manufacture components to specification and within tolerance.
• Demonstrable commitment to safe working practices.
• Ability to reliably commute to St Leonards-on-Sea.
